2. How does towable boom lift work?

We have 4 power options for the hydraulic towable boom lift, AC (Alternating Current), DC battery (Direct Current), diesel and gasoline. After confirm the power, we need to connect it to the power source, or charge the battery to full, or add the fuel accordingly. There are controls on the boom lift, one is bottom control which is on the chassis, the other one is platform control and it is on the basket. But, before we going up, we have to open the 4 outriggers and check if the whole machine is balanced, this is the most important thing before we start aerial work. We got an automatic sensor which will check the balance of the towable boom lift. If it’s not balanced, the sensor will feel it and control the machine can not lift up.

When all 4 outriggers are open and the whole machine is balanced, we can start to going up and down for kinds of aerial work, suck as ceiling repair, street lamp maintenance, building outside glass cleaning, and etc. In order to avoid misoperation, we set a master switch on both chassis control and basket control. Only when you hold this master switch, the other buttons can work.

There are two sets of control systems. At the bottom, there is a set of control cabinet with PLC touch panel, which is used for the control of the whole machine, easy to adjust the machine body and adapt to the work site. Platform control system, the staff can also control the lift on the platform to control the lifting and rotation of the lift. So that the operators can adjust the lift in time according to the operation needs.
